The Albin 35 was the largest of a very popular series. The expected Albin features of great sea keeping, wide walk around side decks, generous cockpit, well thought out use of space, and, of course, the striking down east styling make this boat as popular with the family as it is with the fishing community. The separate guest cabin is amidships and has separate high and low bunks that easily and comfortably sleep two adults in their private stateroom.
The bright main salon supports the galley area and is finely finished with a spacious and open feeling with soft wood cabinetry and wide opening windows. To port is the L shaped seating area that pulls out to a double berth. The full Galley is to Starboard with the refrigerator, cook top, oven, microwave, sinks and plenty of storage.
Efficiently powered by twin Volvo D[removed phone] BBT diesels, she cruises at 2500 rpm at 22 knots and burns 16 gal/hr. The clean and well layout engine room makes caring for these engines and the other mechanical systems a pleasure.
